ENVIRONMENTAL RESPONSIBILITY

King Plastic Industries Ltd became one of the largest 100% recycled paper bag converters in the country. Its brand, Ringoo is the leading recycled grocery bag in the country.

King Plastic Industries Ltd has been proactive in its environmental responsibility by instilling an eco-friendly waste management system in all its business ventures. Staff are trained to separate all plastic and paper waste from general waste, which is in turn sold to recycling companies or recycled onsite with the company’s state-of-the-art recycling machine. With the ever-growing need to protect our environment, King Plastic Industries Limited became the first plastic manufacturing company in Kenya to appoint a recycler to collect and recycle plastic bags at the same rate it is sold into the market by the company. Further investment in green energy by installing solar power with a capacity of 200 KVA shows our commitment to preserving the environment.
